Karachi: Bahria University Medical & Dental College (BUMDC) Karachi, organized an award ceremony for recognizing the extraordinary efforts of their students and faculty members, in making the “18th Foundation & Cultural day’ 2018” a huge success.
On this occasion, Director General BUMDC Rear Admiral (R) Imtiaz Ahmed HI (M), Director Health Sciences Surg. Cdr (Retd) Dr. Hamidullah Arif, Dean of Health Sciences Prof. Asadullah Khan, Principal Dental College Prof. Dr. Wahab Kadri, Vice Principal Medical College Dr. Ambreen Usmani, Vice Principal DPT Dr. Khalid Aziz, along with all the faculty members and students graced the ceremony.
The event started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Hafiz Ali Arsalan. The program was hosted by Rameesa Ahmed and Saad Khalid. The faculty members who added their fervent efforts in organizing and managing the celebrations of Foundation and Cultural day in BUMDC, were called upon the stage to receive their shields.
Dr. Kulsoom Fatima Rizvi Vice Principal Dental Section & HOD Community Dentistry and the Focal person Community Club, Dr. Duad Mirza HOD Oral Pathology and Manager Event Club, Dr. Beenish Alam HOD Oral Biology and Manager Media Club Dental Section, Dr. Nazish Zafar Senior Lecturer Community Dentistry and Manager Community Club, Dr. Umair Aslam Lecturer Department of Periodontology and Manager Event club was presented with an award of recognition, for their outstanding participation in organizing and managing Foundation and Cultural day. Along with the faculty members of the Dental Section, the students of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and final year BDS were also presented with shields and certificates of participation.
Overall, the event will be a mesmerizing memory for all the nominees, awarded for their diligent efforts.
