Rawalpindi: The Margalla Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS) welcomed the 25th BDS Batch of students at their White Coat ceremony.
The institute is also celebrating its silver anniversary this year, marking a milestone in dental education in the country.
The institute provided white coats to the new students that symbolises the beginning of their professional journey and the responsibilities that will come along with the noble profession.
On the occasion, a welcome note was given by Class Coordinator Dr Irum Rehman, followed by a brief address on the importance of the discipline by Vice Chief Proctor Dr Seemi Tanveer.
Margalla College of Dentistry Principal & Dean Prof Dr Amjad Mehmood administered oath to the students to serve as a reminder of the ethical and moral principles that are essential to the learning and practice of dentistry.
In the end, MIHS chairman Dr Abdul Qadir, shared his insightful thoughts with the audience and wished all the students a prosperous future. He expressed his hope that the students would be the best additions to the community and healthcare system, and will serve humanity in every possible way to build a better society.
