KARACHI - The annual trip of Hamdard University Dental Hospital (HUDH) was arranged at Gorakh Hills. The beautiful resort is situated at an elevation of 5,688 feet in the Kirthar Mountain range, 94 kilometers northwest of Dadu city. Gorakh Hill Station is situated the highest plateaus of Sindh, spread over 2,500 acres (10 km2) of land.
Dr Umair Ali from Oral Surgery Department was the organizer of this two days event with journey on specially arranged jeeps. Gorakh hill station was an experience with such a low temperature zone, located in the warm province of Sindh.
The group also visited the mythical town of Sehwan Sharif & visited the shrine of a famous saint Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar. It is time that the government should develop the Gorakh Hill station which has the serenity and grandeur to attract many local & foreign tourists. It will not only improve the economy of the area, but also promote a brighter image of our country.
