MIRPURKHAS: A College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) inspection team expressed its satisfaction with the faculty and facilities at the Prosthodontics Department at the Bhitai Dental and Medical College (BDMC), Mirpurkhas.
The CPSP team that visited the BDMC, Mirpurkhas, comprised Consultant CPSP Prof Dr Ambreen Afzal, Prof Dr Azad Ali Azad and Prof Dr Adnan Chatta.
The purpose of the inspection of the BDMC Prosthodontics Department was to assess the facility for its recognition by the FCPS programme.
The team visited all Dental OPDs at the BDMC and appreciated the facilities and quality of treatment given to the patients, especially appreciating the students learning in the area.
The visit was facilitated by Managing Director Dr Ghulam Mustafa, Deputy Managing Director Dr Mushtaque Khan, Dean Prof Dr Atif Jawad, Principal Dr Permanand, Vice Principal and Director Medical Education Department Dr Ali Maqbool and Dr Shuja Hamid, Chairman of the Curriculum Committee Prof Dr Atif Mahmood.
The Prosthodontics Department team that briefed the CPSP delegation on various aspects of the institute and its academic achievements included Dr Jawed Sultan, Dr Aqsa, Dr Tabinda, Dr Ghazala and Dr Mehreen.
