SEOUL: The Squid Game director, Hwang Dong-hyuk, recently revealed that he lost multiple teeth during the series filming while speaking about the intensity of the show's creation in an interview.
The creator of Squid Game has explained how the stress of shooting the series manifested itself physically, resulting in him losing six teeth while working on set. He said Netflix hit didn't make him rich but took his six teeth.
In an interview with CNN Film School, he said that he still didn't have molars on his left side. He further added, he needed to get implants but hadn't had the time.
Despite the extremity of the experience, Hwang indicated that he hasn't put off the idea of the second season of Netflix's masterpiece. As per The Independent, Squid Game hit number one on Netflix in more than 90 countries.
