KARACHI - Dr Ahson Qavi Siddiqui, a renowned pulmonologist, has recently joined Sindh Healthcare Care Commission (SHCC) as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Dr Qavi has taken this role from Syed Baqar Raza Rizvi, who will continue as Director SHCC. He had been serving as Cheif Operating Officer at Hilton Pharma (Pvt.) Ltd before joining as CEO at SHC.
Dr Ahson Siddiqui has vast experience of thirty-five years in the healthcare delivery sector in Sindh and has been a qualified chest specialist and public health physician. He served in different capacities in the health department and Agha Khan University Hospital. Dr Qavi has worked in administration and clinical positions at the Sindh government's primary and tertiary care sectors.
