KARACHI - Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences (SIOHS), Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU), Karachi, recently embraced its batch of 2016, as they commenced their house job.
Prof. Dr Shahid Rasul, The Vice-Chancellor, JSMU, Prof. Zubair Ahmed Abbasi, Principal, SIOHS, Prof. Dr Yawar Ali Abidi, Dean, SIOHS, were present at the occasion and guided the new house officers. Dr Wasif Iqbal, Vice Principal, Dr Sibghatullah Khan, Head of Oral Medicine Department, and Professor Khalil-ur-Rahman, Periodontology Department of SIOHS, were also present.
Prof. Shahid Rasul expressed hope that the house officers would uphold the professionalism and ethics taught to them during their studies at JSMU.
Prof. Zubair Ahmed Abbasi briefed about the rules and advised the house officers to adhere to the University's policies and SOPs directed by the government. In contrast, Dr Yawar Ali Abidi spoke about the learning experience and adjourned the session on a thank you note.
