Karachi: The 2nd Orientation Day for the newly inducted batch of BDS was organized by Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences (SIOHS).
Prof. S.M.Kefi Iqbal- Dean, Faculty of Dentistry (SIOHS) welcomed everyone and introduced the Heads of all Departments. While addressing the audience, he stressed upon the importance of ethical and moral values of this prestigious professional field.
Prof. S.M.Tariq Rafi, Vice Chancellor, Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) was present at the Orientation Program as the Guest of Honor. During his speech, he emphasized over the importance of Education and the Nobleness of the Medical and Dental profession.
Prof.(Dr.) Saadia Ikram, Registrar of JSMU, discussed regarding the importance of Clinical excellence apart from only excelling in the area of academics.
Prof. (Dr.) Serwar Qureshi, Principal of SMC, Hoor Zaman HR Director of JSMU, other Dignitaries from JSMU and students were also present on the occasion. The program was well attended by the Heads and Staff members of various Dental and Medical Departments, alongside parents of the newly joined batch Students.
