ISLAMABAD: A patient died of Covid-19, while 106 more tested positive for the coronavirus in the country during the last 24 hours.
As per the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) data, in the last 24 hours, 4,213 Covid-19 tests were conducted and 106 of them were found positive.
The positivity ratio of the disease remained 2.52 in the country.
As per NCOC figures, a patient of the coronavirus died, condition of 22 others was precarious.
The NCOC has recently recommended wearing of masks at crowded and tightly enclosed spaces and healthcare facilities.
The guidelines were issued for the period up to April 30, 2023, keeping in view the current Covid-19 trend across the country.
The National Institute of Health (NIH) had confirmed the presence of the Covid-19’s new sub-variant in the country. A sub-variant of Omicron variant of the coronavirus, XBB, has been present in the country for the last three months, NIH had said.
