KARACHI: The 7th Dental Expo 2024 has officially kicked off at the Expo Center Karachi. Organized by the Dental Trade and Manufacturers Association (DTMA), this three-day event will run until December 1, further solidifying its status as the premier gathering for the dental industry in Pakistan.
While speaking to Dental News, Mr. Ashraf Ghauri, President of the Dental Trade Manufacturers Association (DTMA), described the exhibition as Pakistan's largest dental trade event, attracting dental professionals and companies from around the world.
"The 7th DTMA Expo showcases over 2,000 brands and cutting-edge products. With 300 stalls spread across Halls 4, 5, and the Foyer Area, more than 100 dental companies and manufacturers, including a strong contingent of international exhibitors, are participating. This is not just an exhibition; it is a major trade show for Pakistan’s dental sector," said the DTMA President.
With over 12,000 visitors anticipated, the exhibition is a hub for knowledge exchange, networking, and exploring the latest trends in dentistry. A key feature of the event is the Dental Business Hub, which is dedicated to facilitating exclusive interactions between manufacturers and select buyers.
DTMA Secretary General Nasir Feroze also underscored the importance of the event saying, "The DTMA Exhibition is Pakistan’s premier dental industry event, creating essential avenues for business growth and affordable oral healthcare. The success of our previous exhibitions underscores our commitment to innovation and market expansion in the dental sector."
He says this year’s show spotlights the latest in dental technology and products, especially featuring the exclusive Dental Business Hub, reserved for a select group of industry buyers, allowing for targeted business development and networking opportunities.
The three-day event features a comprehensive program, including cutting-edge lectures, live demonstrations, and interactive sessions aimed at equipping dental professionals with the latest knowledge and best practices in the field. Prestigious dental colleges, AEEDC—the world’s largest annual scientific dental conference and exhibition—and other key industry players will also have a significant presence, highlighting the vital collaboration between academia and industry.
