KARACHI: The 7th Dental Trade and Manufacturers Association (DTMA) Exhibition being held from November 29 to December 1, 2024, at Karachi’s Expo Centre, is set to showcase the progress of Pakistani dental industry, providing a platform to local as well as global manufacturers to come up with their innovative products and contribute to the sector’s growth.
DTMA President Ashraf Ghauri highlighted the sector’s progress in developing and manufacturing dental equipment, a move that could significantly reduce import expenses and drive foreign exchange revenue through exports of innovative dental technology.
In an exclusive interview with Dental News, Mr Ghauri described the upcoming exhibition as Pakistan’s largest dental trade event, attracting dental professionals and companies from across the globe.
"The 7th DTMA Exhibition will feature over 2,000 brands and cutting-edge products," he says. "With 300 stalls booked across Halls 4, 5, and the Foyer Area, we anticipate participation from nearly 100 dental companies and manufacturers, including a strong contingent of international exhibitors. This isn’t merely an exhibition; it’s a major trade show for Pakistan’s dental sector," DTMA head says.
DTMA Secretary General Nasir Feroze also underscored the importance of the event saying, "The DTMA Exhibition is Pakistan’s premier dental industry event, creating essential avenues for business growth and affordable oral healthcare. The success of our previous exhibitions underscores our commitment to innovation and market expansion in the dental sector."
He says this year’s show will spotlight the latest in dental technology and products, especially featuring the exclusive Dental Business Hub, reserved for a select group of industry buyers, allowing for targeted business development and networking opportunities.
The exhibition invites industry professionals to witness the future of dental healthcare and engage in the growth of Pakistan’s dental sector on a global stage.
