LASBELA: Mrs. Romina Khursheed Alam, Coordinator to the Prime Minister for Climate Change, emphasized the equally important role of women in society while distributing health and hygiene kits to students at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Uthal, Lasbela District. The event, held recently, was part of a Health and Hygiene Training and Kit Distribution ceremony.

Mrs. Alam expressed her pride in being among the daughters of Balochistan and committed to continuing her visits. She highlighted the importance of maintaining a hygienic lifestyle, urging the students to adhere to safety and precautionary measures in their daily lives, similar to the practices followed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

She appealed to the daughters of Balochistan to serve as "special messengers" in spreading the message of health and hygiene within their communities.

The hygiene kits were distributed under the "She Power" project, launched by the Embassy of China in Balochistan to improve the health and well-being of young girls. This initiative aims to promote the use of hygiene products and foster health awareness among girls in the region. As part of the project, 20,000 health kits, containing essential hygiene products, are being distributed to schools across Balochistan to address critical health needs.
