Gujranwala - The Pakistan Dental Association (PDA) chapter Gujrat recently organized a clinical symposium on the topic of “Oral Diseases” at Akbar Kinara Resort, Gujrat. The symposium was approved from University of Health Sciences (UHS) and Pakistan Medical &Dental Council (PM&DC) for 06 CME hours. The symposium received high praise and positive feedback from participants. Dr Umair Farooq invited the speakers Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz, an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon working at Ministry of Health Saudi Arabia, and Dr. Farhat Kazmi, an Oral Pathologist working at Ministry of Higher Education Saudi Arabia, to present their topics.
Dr. Khalid Mehmood Sipra, President PDA, Gujrat section praised the talk given by Dr. Muhammad Mumtaz on the management of autoimmune disease affecting the oral cavity. He said this clinical talk will benefit the participants in their routine dental practice.
President Pakistan Dental Association appreciated Dr Farhat Kazmi’s presentation. He said that her speech was clinically oriented and has highlighted new approaches for the diagnosis and management of mesenchymal tumours in the maxillofacial region.
Seniors members of PDA Dr Farooq Chaudhary, Dr Khalid Sipra and Dr Ismail Rashid distributed the certificates and shields to the presenters. At the end of the activity, President PDA Gujrat chapter Dr Khalid thanked the presenters and participants for a memorable event.
