Dr. Asghar Ali Shigri has been promoted as an Associate Professor of Community Dentistry. He is a graduate of NISHTAR MEDICAL COLLEGE. Moreover, he has done his MASTERS in PUBLIC HEALTH. Currently he is serving as the Head of Community Dentistry Department at Baqai Dental College in Karachi. He has served at Baqai Dental College from the time since “Community Dentistry” was taught as a separate subject, for the first time in the history of Pakistan at Baqai Dental College. He has many national and international publications on his credit. Dr. Shigri has been publishing the annual activity book of community dentistry department at Baqai Dental College, besides being the examiner of under graduate and post graduate studies. Over the years, he has been organizing numerous awareness campaigns and seminars on different oral health issues.
