Lahore: With Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf making a comeback in Punjab, the new Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has been tasked by the PTI Chief to start Ehsaas program and Sehat card immediately.
Ehsaas program and Sehat card were two internationally acknowledged programmes by the PTI government. With PTI winning back in Punjab, Sehat Card and other welfare initiatives are set to resume again. The meeting to start these welfare programmes without any delay was chaired by Chairman PTI Imran Khan and attended by CM Ch. Parvez Elahi, former federal minister Moonis Elahi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Fawad Chaudhry, Dr Shahbaz Gill, Asad Umer Farrukh Habib, Dr Sania Nishtar, Hashim Jawan Bakht and Zain Qureshi
The meeting aimed at relaunching all public welfare projects to provide relief to the people of Punjab. Blaming the federal government for stopping these welfare projects Imran Khan vowed to start Ehsaas Ration Program in Punjab to combat the unprecedented price-hike.
Dr Sania Nishtar was given the responsibility for the launch of the Ehsaas Ration Program in Punjab.
