ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has said the media could play an important role in educating people on important social, political and economic issues.
In his congratulatory message to the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE), he expressed the hope that new officials of the council would play their role for media freedom, promotion of democratic values and human rights, and solution of social and economic problems in Pakistan.
