ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has recently directed the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) to provide the complete report and documents related to the contract to hold the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT).
Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has been under hot water since being awarded the contract to hold MDCAT. Therefore, the NAB has been conducting a complaint verification regarding alleged corruption in the MDCAT contract.
NAB sent a letter to the PMC president, which requested to nominate a focal person well conversant with the record and provide information and details. The letter also added that the information might be provided at the earliest through the nominated focal person Ms Samina Rahman, Deputy Director, Complaint Verification Cell, NAB Rawalpindi.
PMC has been ordered to provide the issued advertisement for the contract, details of firms shortlisted, bid documents and its evaluation, details of the qualified firm including their experience certificates, complete details of payment given to the aforementioned firm, contract and any other relevant documents, including applicable rules and regulations.
