KARACHI: Fatima Jinnah Dental College (FJDC) recently hosted a vibrant event to mark Independence Day to rekindle patriotic spirit among the students and staff.
On the occasion, the FJDC campus was beautifully decorated, while the first and second-year BDS students dressed in green and white, showcasing Pakistan’s rich heritage and cultural diversity.
In his address on the occasion, Dr. Hussain Askary, FJDC CEO and Head of Community Dentistry reminded the participants that Pakistan’s true strength lies in its diversity and unity.
He urged the students to reflect on their role in shaping the country’s future and to remain committed to building a stronger, more inclusive society.
The event was also attended by FJDC Principal Prof. Dr. Tasleem Hosein, Vice Principal, Pre-Clinical Campus Asst. Prof. Dr. Sabiha Mirza and Vice Principal, Clinical Campus Prof. Dr. Babur Ashraf.
The students sang patriotic songs and highlighted Pakistan’s achievements and progress in various fields, including agriculture, education, and healthcare, since its inception.
The event concluded with a focus on the role of the younger generation in shaping a brighter future and honoring the sacrifices made for the country’s creation.
