KARACHI: Three Dental Health Sciences PhD candidates from the Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) successfully presented and defended their PhD synopses at the Sindh Institute of Oral Health Sciences (SIOHS).
The JSMU candidates -- Dr. Samira Adnan, Dr. Mehwish Khan, and Dr. Sibghatullah Khan— presented their synopses before a panel comprising faculty members and research supervisors, including Prof. Muhammad Khalil, Prof. Syed Yawar Ali Abidi, Prof. Irfan Qamruddin, Prof. Huma Shareef, Prof. Kiran Rafiq, Dr. Farah Jawed and Prof. Dr. Saima Akram Butt from Ziauddin University served as an external reviewer.
The panel gave an overwhelmingly positive feedback, highlighting the potential impact of the candidates’ research on the future of dental science.
