PMDC head orders transparent conduct of MDCAT 

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) President Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj, has directed all universities to ensure transparency in the upcoming Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT), scheduled for September 22.

In a recent press release, Dr. Taj emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of the MDCAT, a crucial step for students aspiring to medical and dental careers in Pakistan. Several prestigious public universities across the country have been tasked with conducting the exam.

Council members have been appointed to oversee the exam in their respective provinces, ensuring strict adherence to security measures, including biometric identification and surveillance.

Out of 174,744 applications received, 167,077 have been finalized after scrutiny.

Dr. Taj warned of strict penalties if any instances of cheating or misconduct was observed in the conduct exam.

He urged candidates to regularly check the PMDC website for updates and to maintain honesty throughout the exam process, stressing the importance of preserving the exam’s credibility to ensure deserving students advance in their medical and dental careers.
