Girl with dental cavities rushed to hospital, parents arrested

PENNSYLVANIA: The authorities recently said that a Schuylkill County couple was recently punished for endangerment crime after Children and Youth saw their 3-year-old daughter extremely malnourished, with a lot of dental decays, lice infestation and bed bug bites all over the body.

Pennsylvania State Police said that Ryan Sonnon, 32, and Abigail Sonnon, 30, were charged for endangering the welfare of their child. They said the toddler had immediately been taken to the emergency room to prevent serious injury or death because of her malnutrition.

The little girl had significant dental cavities because of her poor diet, state police said. Therefore, the Sonnons were arrested on Christmas Eve in Mahanoy City and taken to the Schuylkill County Prison in place of $10,000 bail, each.
