Pakistan's vaccination centres to stay closed for two days

ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) recently announced that COVID-19 vaccination centres would remain closed across the country on January 1 and 2, 2022.

NCOC said the inoculation drive would resume from Jan 3. Its official account further stated that 30 per cent of the country's total population and 46 per cent of the eligible population had been inoculated against the coronavirus.

Amid the growing threat of the outbreak of cases of COVID-19 Omicron variant, it urged citizens to get vaccinated soon and adhere to the SOPs.
