The workshop attracted 18 enthusiastic participants, including dental professionals and postgraduate students eager to enhance their expertise in veneer preparation and application.

The event was structured to provide a holistic learning experience, combining theoretical knowledge with practical demonstrations. The workshop commenced with three expert-led lectures, each focusing on critical aspects of ceramic veneer preparation. Dr. Aamir Rafiq, Associate Professor in Prosthodontics, delivered the first lecture titled “Mastering Veneer Preparations: Precision, Aesthetics, and Longevity.” His session emphasized the importance of accuracy and durability in veneer applications, setting the foundation for the hands-on training that followed.

The second lecture, delivered by Dr. Muhammad Abdul Muqeet, Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics, explored temporization protocols for veneers, highlighting best practices for maintaining functional and aesthetic integrity during the interim phase of veneer placement. The final lecture, presented by Dr. Sameen Zehra, Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics, covered the essential bonding steps for veneers, ensuring participants gained a complete understanding of the adhesion process critical to long-term veneer success.

After the lecture sessions, Dr. Aamir Rafiq conducted a live demonstration, showcasing step-by-step veneer preparation techniques. Participants then had the opportunity to perform the procedure themselves under expert supervision, reinforcing their newly acquired skills in a real-world setting.

The workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where each participant was awarded a NUMS-accredited certificate, earning them 4.5 credit points. This recognition not only enhances professional credentials but also reflects the growing emphasis on continuing dental education and skill-based training in Pakistan.
