KARACHI: The Sindh Health Department has announced the names of nine healthcare commissioners for the Sindh Health Care Commission (SHCC) for a tenure of three years with the approval of the Chief Minister Sindh.
According to a notification, with the approval of a competent authority i.e. Chief Minister, Sindh, and in pursuance of clause -5(2)(3)(4)(5) of the Sindh Healthcare Commission, Act-2013, Health Department, Government of Sindh, is pleased to notify the following nine Health Care Commissioners in the composition of the SHCC for a tenure of three years effective immediately.
The names of the Healthcare Commissioners include Prof Dr Saeed Qureshi, Vice-Chancellor, DUHS, Karachi, Prof Abdul Razzak Sheikh, Prof Sher Muhammad Shaikh, Prof Dr Masroor Ahmed, Ex-Pro-Vice-Chancellor, DUHS, Karachi, Dr Khalid Hussain Shaikh, Ex-Special Secretary (Public Health), Miss Nargis Ali Akbar Ghaloo (PAS), Justice (R) Hassan Feroze, and financial expert, Abdul Samad Salim.
