The world's largest dental trade expo layout will begin after the application deadline on March 31, 2022.
Next year, IDS, the world's largest dental trade show, will celebrate two milestone anniversaries: The International Dental Show will stage its fortieth edition from March 14 to March 18, 2023, but it will also celebrate its 100th birthday. Because the main trade fair is founded on a system of values that makes it distinctive, the success story of the dental industry is inextricably linked with IDS. 100 years of IDS stand for the depiction of the industry in its entirety, for innovations and market trends, for a consistent and open comparison of performance in the sense of the Olympic principle and last, but not least, for a leadership claim as the largest international industry platform that has been repeatedly confirmed for decades. When the online applications kick off in February, the anniversary edition of the world's largest trade fair for dentistry and dental technology will be under starter's orders. Koelnmesse has already received numerous stand area inquiries from companies in the run-up to the trade fair. The first planning phase will begin after the application deadline on March 31 2022.
Companies that have confirmed their participation by the official application date at the end of March will be directly considered in the initial layout planning of the IDS 2023.
The success story and the anniversary of IDS are also outstanding results for Koelnmesse because the International Dental Show has been conducted at the trade fair location in Cologne for over thirty years. At the time, the Association of German Dental Manufacturers (VDDI) decided to provide IDS with a permanent home in Cologne from 1992 onwards and entrust Koelnmesse with organising the trade fair.
