KARACHI - Head of Department of Community Dentistry Karachi Medical and Dental College, Dr. Ashraf Ayub and Assistant Professors Dr Sana and Dr Furqan, along with 100 students, made a field visit to the pharmaceutical company, Platinum.
Here, they learnt manufacturing, dispensing and packaging of different medicines concerning general and oral health. While visiting with the company, the students learnt about their various dental products which include Clinica gel (a mouth wash), and Prodent (a toothpaste). The hygienic conditions were up to the mark and the operations of the company were well managed and efficient. It was a worthy and educational visit for both the students and the teachers of KMDC.
